The German Embassy is pleased to announce the opening of applications for the Small-Scale Project Funding, a long‑standing component of Germany’s support to local organisations aimed at supporting grassroots initiatives that contribute to poverty alleviation, improving living conditions, and strengthening social fabric and community structures.

This funding scheme provides financial support to National NGOs and Community-Based Organizations for micro‑development, social or related projects that can be completed within one year and directly benefit disadvantaged or vulnerable groups. In line with this year’s priorities, the 2026 funding cycle will focus on projects in the following areas:

1. Strengthening civil society and local capacities

2. Advance Women, Peace and Security (WPS – Resolution 1325) agenda

3. Promote Youth, Peace and Security (YPS – Resolution 2250) in the local context

If you are interested in applying, please find the required application templates attached. Please note the following guidelines:

1. The maximum funding amount is USD 20,000

2. The deadline for applications is 9^th March 2026

3. Administrative costs should not exceed 15% of the total budget

4. Projects which can be finalised before 31 December 2026

We encourage all eligible organizations to submit proposals that demonstrate clear community impact, sustainability, and alignment with the above outlined priority areas.
