After years of civil war, there is a chance of peaceful developments in South Sudan. As one of the largest donors, Germany supports the world’s youngest state by means of humanitarian assistance and development projects to the benefit of the peope of South Sudan
The German Embassy in Juba does not have a Consular Section. All consular, visa and passport affairs have to be addressed to the the German Embassy in Kampala. Outside business hours, you can reach the on-call service in case of emergencies (no visa questions) on +256 772 763 000.
Opening hours
The embassy's office times are Monday to Friday from 8am to 4pm.
Appointments are required for all visits to the embassy.
Attention: Contact via satellite telephone or fax (Satcom) might incur higher costs.
Note on barrier-free access
The embassy supports visitors with disabilities and endeavors to make enable them access to the employees within the possibilities of the architectural conditions. If you have any questions about accessibility or if you need assistance, please contact us.
Access to the embassy building is barrier-free. All doors are sufficiently wide, but not barrier-free. They do not have any automatic opening/closing mechanism. The upper floor of the embassy can only be reached by stairs.
