Germany has been standing by the side of the civilian population of South Sudan for decades and was amongst the first countries to recognize the independence of South Sudan. Germany will continue to support the people of South Sudan and any efforts for sustainable peace. The focus of our engagement will remain security and stability in the country, as well as development and wellbeing of the South Sudanese people.

The German Embassy in Juba does not have a Consular Section. All consular, visa and passport affairs have to be addressed to the German Embassy in Kampala.
Opening hours
The embassy's office times are Monday to Friday from 8am to 4pm.
Appointments are required for all visits to the embassy.
Attention: Contact via satellite telephone or fax (Satcom) might incur higher costs.
Note on barrier-free access
The embassy supports visitors with disabilities and endeavors to make enable them access to the employees within the possibilities of the architectural conditions. If you have any questions about accessibility or if you need assistance, please contact us.
Access to the embassy building is barrier-free. All doors are sufficiently wide, but not barrier-free. They do not have any automatic opening/closing mechanism. The upper floor of the embassy can only be reached by stairs.
